Michael Kelliher, an adjunct professor in the master's in conflict resolution program, has been named deputy chief of staff of the National Mediation Board. Kelliher, who earned both his bachelor's degree and MBA from Dominican, is responsible for managing the NMB's partnership with the SPCS. He also has served as an adjunct professor of management in the Brennan School of Business.
Kelliher has 30 years of labor relations experience in the airline industry. He has served a term as president of the Association of Professional Flight Attendants at American Airlines.
The National Mediation Board is an independent federal agency established by the Railway Labor Act, which governs labor-management relations among nearly 500 railroads and 100 airlines in the United States.
